Your Doin to much If your Like me the beat gotta bump BUT If your mixing using basic monitors, computer speakers or headphones chances are your putting to much bass in the track headphones and near field monitos wont be able to give you an accurate look at what's going going on in your track. So mix with a sub..and DONT max out that bass on the sub.. dont over EQ your speakers you need ACCURATE playback. If you turn up the bass (on the back of the sub or on the computer) when the beat leaves the computer it wont hit like you expect.

Bang it out the trunk If your ballin' on a budget dont trip even Puffys Engineer does this. Just take the mix to your car and see how it sounds.. This is somthing that money cant buy..You might mix in a million dollar studio, with $10,000 speakers but what is everybody your making the beat for hearing it on?? Take your beats with you and try it out everywhere you go and try of other people systems, thats the REAL way to see how the streets are goin' to recieve your tracks.
